KDE DVDAuthor Wizard
A easy to use wizard that allows you to create a real working DVD disk from one or multiple DVD compatible MPEG2 files. The wizard can generate a fully animated menu for you, which can show animated preview thumbnails of all the titles that you have added to the DVD.

DVD Rip-O-Matic
A DVD-to-XviD backup tool with a minimal amount of adjustable settings and automatic detection of the optimal values of almost all adjustable settings. It should produce very high quality rips, even if you have no idea what the settings mean and just use it in the next-next-next-finish way.

This is a tool for users of MiniDV Video equipment. It can assemble multiple MiniDV files into one with various transition effects in between.
